Taylor Barnett, MS
2018 - current
Taylor holds a B.S in Natural Resources and a minor in Psychology from Oregon State University. After graduating, she joins my Global Mass Timber research project as a M.S student in Wood Science.
Taylor and I have published two peer-reviewed articles in Forests and Scandinavian Journal of Forest Research with another one is currently under review.
Agung Irawan, MS
2018 - 2020
Agung holds a MS in Animal Nutrition from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia. Beyond his degree, Agung's research interest also include environmental science and natural resource management.
Agung is now a faculty member in The Department of Animal Science at Sebelas Maret University, Indonesia, and an Associate Research Fellow in Animal Feed and Nutrition Modelling Research Group at IPB University (Bogor Agricultural University).
Sulis Setiowati, MS
2018 - 2020
Sulis holds a MS in Information Technology from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia. She is now a faculty member in The Department of Electrical Engineering at Jakarta State Polytechnic.
Sulis and I have a joint publication on using Point of Interest (POI)
Recommendation System in Marketing Applications.
Ping Liu 刘 萍 , MS
2018 - current
Originally from China, Ping has extensive sales and marketing experience in the forest based manufacturing companies. Currently pursuing a Master degree in Wood Science at Oregon State University, Ping is researching about open innovation in the U.S. forest sector.
Emily Jones, BS
2020 - current
Emily is a post-baccalaureate student at Oregon State University pursuing a degree in Natural Resources, with a specialization in forest ecosystems.
Emily is working in the forest higher education project with a publication in the pipeline.
Kathy Young, BS
2020 - current
Originally from Indonesia, Kathy is a sophomore at Oregon State University, majoring in Forest Engineering with a minor in Forestry. She has always been interested in environmental issues, which is why she chose the major, with the hopes of being able to make a significant change with her job after she graduates.
Kathy is working in the intersectionality between gender and circular economy, with a collaborator from FAO Forestry.
Amy Greenan, BS
2020 - current
Amy is a post-bacc student at OSU working toward bachelor's degrees in Natural Resources with a focus on policy and management, and Sustainability. Originally from the western New York state region, she holds a BFA and an MFA in visual art and has many years of experience as an artist and graphic designer. From her home office in Niagara Falls, NY, she works as a student but also at a full-time job on the administrative side of a business that manages a site in eastern Pennsylvania where sewage sludge is recycled into biomass that can be used for agricultural applications as well as for mine reclamation and landfill caps.
Amy is working in the women's network project, aiming to support the IUFRO Task Force "Gender Equality in Forestry".
